From Montreal and Stockholm, Voidchaser is a progressive metal band. Since their inception in 2023, the band has quickly gained momentum with standout, high-caliber singles that have resonated across North America, South America, and Europe — earning widespread attention from influential outlets such as Prog Magazine, Decibel Magazine, The Progspace, Prog-Sphere, Metal Universe, and others.

In 2024, they released Solace, their 30-minute debut concept album written as a single continuous piece. Fusing crushing riffs, intricate arrangements, and evocative storytelling, the record ranges from the explosive Only Human (featuring Ashbreather) to the haunting acoustic ballad Alien. The album quickly amassed over 250,000 streams on Spotify, charted on Apple Music and iTunes top metal albums in multiple countries across Europe, North, and South America, and solidified their status as one of prog metal’s most promising new voices.

Their follow-up EP, Trust (2025), features collaborations with Jim Grey (Caligula’s Horse), members of The Anchoret and Universe Effects, and over 10 contributors from around the world.

Voidchaser will embark on their debut international tour in summer and fall 2025, including performances at ProgPower Europe (25th Anniversary), the inaugural ProgStorm Festival in Montreal, and shows alongside Threshold, Kingcrow, Vulkan, Nospūn, Omnivide, Ok Goodnight, and Lux Terminus.

DEBUT LP - SOLACE (2024)

Released in September 2024, Solace is Voidchaser’s most ambitious work to date — a 30-minute conceptual album divided into six interconnected parts.

Exploring themes of trust, resilience, love, and betrayal, the record captures the duality of strength and vulnerability through dynamic songwriting and emotional range. From the thunderous intensity of Solace Part II: Only Human — one of the band’s heaviest and most explosive tracks, both live and in studio — to the haunting acoustic ballad Solace Part IV: Alien, which found unexpected popularity in online wedding playlists, Solace showcases the full emotional and musical spectrum of Voidchaser.

The album has amassed over 260,000 streams on Spotify and nearly 40,000 views on YouTube, while earning widespread acclaim from The Progspace, Riffage, and many others. It charted among the top metal albums on Apple Music and iTunes in Canada, Sweden, Belgium, Switzerland, Colombia, Peru, and Costa Rica. In September 2024, the band performed the album in its entirety during their Terra Corp Presents: The Only Human Tour — a high-energy headlining tour across Quebec with acclaimed local acts including The Anchoret, Universe Effects, and Last Dance Among Wolves. The tour also marked the band’s first sold-out headlining show in Quebec City. Following strong digital sales and sustained fan demand, Voidchaser is now preparing to launch the first physical CD edition of Solace — a milestone release for a band quickly rising on the international prog metal stage.

LATEST EP - TRUST (2025)

Released in March 2025, Trust is the final chapter in Voidchaser’s conceptual saga — a bold and emotionally resonant EP that brings closure to the narrative arc introduced in their debut EP Odyssey and developed through Solace. Across three intricately composed tracks — Time (featuring Universe Effects), Dogma (featuring The Anchoret), and Trust (featuring Jim Grey from Caligula’s Horse) — the band explores themes of trauma, betrayal, survival, and redemption, picking up where Solace left off: with the protagonist adrift in space, isolated and facing oblivion.

Blending progressive metal with cinematic textures, orchestral arrangements, world instruments, and rich vocal layering, Trust showcases Voidchaser’s collaborative spirit and creative ambition. Featuring over 15 guest musicians from across the globe, the EP delivers a dynamic and deeply immersive listening experience. Upon release, Trust briefly reached #1 on RateYourMusic’s list of top progressive EPs of the year, and has since amassed nearly 80,000 Spotify streams and close to 30,000 YouTube views. It continues to attract new fans worldwide, further establishing Voidchaser as a rising force in modern progressive metal.

Due to high fan demand, the band will also produce a limited run of physical CDs for collectors. Voidchaser is now preparing to bring Trust to the stage for the very first time during their 2025 international tour, where Canadian and European audiences will finally experience the EP live — sharing the stage with standout acts such as Nospūn, Omnivide, Ok Goodnight, Lux Terminus, Threshold, Vulkan, and Kingcrow.
